What Is High Density Polyethylene
High density polyethylene (HDPE) ,also called low-pressure polyethylene, is a thermoplastic polymerized from ethylene monomer. HDPE granules is an opaque white wax-like material, non-toxic, odorless, with a specific gravity of 0.941~0.960, soft and tough, but slightly harder than LDPE resin and slightly elongated.
HDPE resin has excellent heat resistance, cold resistance, abrasion resistance, dielectric and chemical stability, is almost insoluble in any organic solvent at room temperature, and has low water absorption and water vapor permeability. What’s more, HDPE always plays an important role in industry and daily life. Widely used in agriculture, packaging, electrical and electronic, machinery, automobiles, daily sundries and other fields.
