Linear Low Density Polyethylene LLDPE

• LLDPE resin has enhanced tensile, puncture, impact and tear resistance properties and can be used in most of polyethylene’s traditional markets, including film, molding, tubing and wire and cable.
• Its excellent environmental stress cracking resistance, low temperature impact resistance and warpage resistance make LLDPE attractive for pipe, sheet extrusion and all molding applications.
• The latest application of LLDPE granules is as a mulch film for the lining of landfills and waste ponds.
• Applications in thin films. Production of bags, trash bags, elastic wrap, industrial liners, towel liners and shopping bags. LLDPE resin is easier to make thinner film while maintaining high strength and toughness.
• Injection molding and rotational molding are the two largest molding applications for LLDPE. The superior toughness and low-temperature, impact strength of linear low density polyethylene resin are theoretically suitable for waste bins, toys and refrigerators.
• In addition, high resistance of linear low density polyethylene LLDPE to environmental stress cracking makes it suitable for injection molded lids in contact with oily food, rotationally molded waste containers, fuel tanks and chemical tanks.
• Applications in pipe and wire and cable coating. The high burst strength and environmental stress crack resistance offered by LLDPE are adequate.

• Linear low density polyethylene is non-toxic, tasteless and odorless milky white particles with a density of 0.918~0.935g/cm3.
• The branch length of LLDPE is generally greater than that of HDPE, but smaller than that of LDPE. Structurally closer to HDPE.
• The crystallinity of LLDPE is 50% to 55%. Similar to LDPE, the melting point is about 10-15 higher than that of LDPE. And the melting point range is narrow, but much lower than HDPE.
• It has a higher softening temperature and melting temperature.
• LLDPE resin has the advantages of high strength, good toughness, high rigidity, heat resistance and cold resistance.
• It has good resistance to environmental stress cracking, impact strength, tear strength and other properties, and can resist acid, alkali and organic solvents. 
• The linear low density polyethylene resin is less shear sensitive because of its narrow molecular weight distribution and short chain branches. LLDPE resin maintains greater viscosity during shearing.
• In extrusion, the lower shear sensitivity of LLDPE resin allows for faster stress relaxation of the polymer molecular chains, and thus the physical properties are less sensitive to changes in blow-up ratio.
• In melt extension, LLDPE polymer generally has a lower viscosity at various strain rates. That is to say, it will not strain harden when stretched like low density polyethylene.
• Linear low density polyethylene LLDPE is widely used in industry, agriculture, medicine, hygiene and daily necessities and other fields.
